Crafted for Today. Made for Generations

We believe a cutting board should be more than a kitchen tool—it should be a piece you'll reach for every day and proudly pass down for years to come. Handcrafted in Oregon from premium hardwoods, each board is built with exceptional craftsmanship, timeless design, and enduring quality.

Our Products

Crafted, Not Mass Produced

Every Pedersen Artisan board is handcrafted from solid hardwood — not mass produced, not pulled from a shelf. Each piece is cut, shaped, sanded, and finished by hand, one board at a time.

No Two Boards Are Identical

My boards are crafted from real walnut, maple, or cherry. Natural grain, color variation, and character marks are features of the wood, not flaws. Strong grain movement and color shifts are the wood doing what wood does.

No two boards look exactly the same. That’s the point.

Handcrafted Tolerances

Because each board is hand-shaped and hand-finished, actual dimensions may vary slightly from listed measurements — typically within a ¼ inch. This is a normal result of hand finishing, not a defect.

If you need a board to fit exact dimensions, contact us before ordering at info@pedersenartisanboards.com and we’ll confirm what we can accommodate.

Lead Times

Every board is hand made. Most orders ship within 7 - 10 business days. We also keep limited inventory of some popular styles and sizes — those boards in stock typically ship within 1–3 business days. If you’re ordering for a specific date, order early. We build to a standard, not a deadline, and we won’t sacrifice quality to meet a timetable. If timing is critical, reach out before you order and we’ll give you an honest estimate.

My Commitment

Every board that leaves my shop is inspected. If it doesn’t meet my standard, it doesn’t ship.

If your board arrives damaged or defective I’ll replace it. If it cracks or warps due to a craftsmanship issue within the first year I’ll repair or replace it — no questions asked.

Dale @ Pedersen Artisan Boards

About Us

At Pedersen Artisan Boards, I believe exceptional craftsmanship begins with intention. Every board is thoughtfully designed and meticulously handcrafted to bring together beauty, functionality, and lasting quality.

I'm Dale Pedersen, the owner and sole artisan behind every piece created in my Oregon workshop. Inspired by the forests, landscapes, and enduring spirit of the Pacific Northwest, I craft premium cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and serving pieces from carefully selected walnut, maple, and cherry hardwoods. Each board highlights the natural beauty of the wood, making every piece uniquely its own.

As a one-person shop, I personally handle every step of the process—from selecting the finest lumber and precision milling to careful glue-ups, hand sanding, and applying a food-safe finish. There are no shortcuts and no mass production—just an unwavering commitment to quality and attention to detail.

I believe the finest pieces are those that are made with purpose. My goal is to create boards that perform beautifully in everyday use while bringing warmth and character to your kitchen and table. Every detail is considered to ensure each piece reflects the craftsmanship and care that define Pedersen Artisan Boards.

Thank you for supporting a small Oregon workshop. When you choose Pedersen Artisan Boards, you're investing in authentic craftsmanship, premium materials, and a piece that's made by one pair of hands with pride, precision, and a commitment to excellence.
